Mission Accomplished - Fifth Anniversary
Five years ago on this day, you stridently proclaimed victory under the banner, 'Mission accomplished' on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln.
Arriving on your pilot's costume, you had the world by the balls.
Today:
Fuel prices through the roof.
Iran is openly defiant.
Osama has not been caught.
Iraq is in utter chaos.
Our economy is in the toilet.
Your mission to destroy America's standing in the world indeed has been accomplished.
Thank you Mr. President.

Hi J - heard an interesting stat the other day...
The adminstration had repeatedly implied a connection between 9-11 and Saddam in the build up to the invasion - you'll recall the b.s. such as "We'll fight 'em there so we don't hafta fight 'em here."
Of course there was no connection between 9-11 and Iraq; in fact, Al Quida (or however you spell it) in Iraq only came into being as a result of the chaos created by the Bush invasion.
Yet at the time of the invasion, seventy five percent of Americans believed Iraq was behind 9-11. Lies work - especially with the media looking less and less independent/investigative.
