A Voice in the Wilderness

As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there's a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged, and it is in such twilight that we must be aware of change in the air, however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness. -- William O. O'Reilly Gets Spanked by Geraldo

Its About the Booze, Stupid!

It is so great to watch Faux News Network's Bill O'Reilly getting bi*ch-slapped and exposed for his blatant bigotry. Note how he completely ignores the reality that 347 DWI fatilities occurred in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2005.

Never the less, O'Reilly squares his focus on the fact that the drunk driver in this particular tragedy is an illegal alien.

I'd love to see how O'Reilly's family tree shakes out. Better yet, I wonder if this dickhead would rant about illegal aliens who sexually harrass their subordinates and talk naughty over the phone about how they'd like to perform various sexual acts on said subordinates like O'Reilly attempted to do and eventually settled out of court to make the horny Irishman's transgression go away.

Is Bill a horny mysogynistic bastard who, drunk with his own power can abuse women because he is Irish? I think not. No, he's just another example of a rich son-of-a-bit*h who makes his living by inciting hatred as he wraps himself in the American flag.

Kudos to Geraldo as he very skillfully used O'Reilly's tactics to shut him down and expose the bigot's asinine attempt to spin Virginia's and by extension, America's DWI problem as something exclusively connected to illegal aliens.

Yeah, I also love the "illegal alien anecdotes" approach to "analyzing" the issue.

In case anti immigrants haven't noticed, the economies in Mexico and Latin America aren't doing quite so well as the US. The huge discrepancy? THAT'S the problem.

Being anti poverty and pro social justice is the only realistic long term solution to the "immigration problem."
