A Voice in the Wilderness

As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there's a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged, and it is in such twilight that we must be aware of change in the air, however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness. -- William O. This imagery is downright scary. I cannot imagine how terrible it must have been back then for people when these hooded gowns were trumpeting their clause.
Incidentally, in the Da Vinci Code, such hooded gowns were originally frocks of religious men. Though I did not verify if this nugget of information is true, still, the irony is unescapable.
