The Emperor's New Shoes . . .

The Allen-Edmonds Shoe Company of Port Washington, Wisconsin made a pair of new shoes as a gift for King Georgie.

The party boy looks as though he's trying out his John Wayne posture or, could it be he's still working on his Sammy Davis Junior imitation and his soft-shoe appearance before the NAACP in hopes of garnering support from the black constituency for his Republican cronies.

Lord knows he needs it after alienating the Latinos with his Anti-Mexican border shutdown policy. Aside from the Uncle Tom and Tio Taco sell-out voters, George's patriotic wingtips aren't going to convince anyone that Dubya gives a damn about Latinos or Blacks.

Apparently, the shoes were stamped inside with the promise that they would not be duplicated. Perhaps, it would have been more prudent if they had stamped "L" and "R" in them as well - that would free up Dick Cheney for target practice in the mornings.

Next stop for this bozo to do is to visit a clown costume company who can fabricate an exclusive suit to match his shoes and personality.

The shoe company, who prides itself on being synonymous with the "well heeled" men that wear their shoes, has also announced that, in honor of the Jack-Assus Maximus, they will not make another pair of these red, white and blue beauties.

Thank Heaven.

Those are some ugly shoes; no one has the heart to tell George of the Jungle just how stupid he really looks in them.
