Jack Abramoff Indicted

"5:16 p.m. August 11, 2005

MIAMI – A trail of intrigue that has followed an ill-fated gambling boat deal, including a Mafia-style hit and lawsuits over alleged financial irregularities, has now ensnared a man House Majority Leader Tom DeLay once called one of his "dearest friends."

Jack Abramoff, once a powerful Washington lobbyist and major Republican fundraiser, was accused Thursday in a federal grand jury indictment with conspiring with a partner to defraud two lenders out of $60 million in the casino boat deal."

How sweet it is to watch this man who bilked money from the Native American tribes and whose people he referred to as, 'monkeys' and 'idiots' in numerous e-mails. He deserves to be indicted. It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

An example of Abramoff's e-mails as quoted in Wikipedia is as follows;

"The [expletive] troglodytes didn't vote on you today," Abramoff responded.

"What's a troglodyte?" Scanlon asked.

"What am I, a dictionary? It's a lower form of existence, basically," Abramoff wrote. "I like these guys," he hastened to add, yet then continued: "They are plain stupid... Morons."

It is going to be fun watching Tom Delay trying to dissociate himself from his old crony. Hopefully, yesterday's ARMPAC finding will also prove to be Congressman DeLay's undoing. The lazy-eyed House Majority Leader from Texas is going to have his hands full. His monopoly is just about over. Congressman DeLay just might need this soon:
