A Voice in the Wilderness

As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there's a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged, and it is in such twilight that we must be aware of change in the air, however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness. -- William O. Abraham, Martin and John

Abraham, Martin and John
Performed by; Dion
Has anybody here seen my old friend Abraham?
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed a lot of people,
But it seems the good they die young.
You know, I just looked around and he's gone.

Anybody here seen my old friend John?
Can you tell me where he's gone?

He freed a lot of people,

But it seems the good they die young.
I just looked around and he's gone.

Anybody here seen my old friend Martin?
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed a lot of people,
But it seems the good they die young.
I just looked 'round and he's gone.

Didn't you love the things that they stood for?
Didn't they try to find some good for you and me?
And we'll be free
Some day soon, and it's gonna be one day ...

Anybody here seen my old friend Bobby?
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed a lot of people,
I thought I saw him walkin' up over the hill,
With Abraham, Martin and John.

Man, just quickly scanning here, it's late, but I just see the first pictures - Lincoln, MLK, John and Robert Kennedy - some of my major heroes too.
