A Voice in the Wilderness

As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there's a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged, and it is in such twilight that we must be aware of change in the air, however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness. -- William O. Ain't it the truth? Sometimes I feel like some kind of nutty, wacko conspiracy-theory left-wing loony, headed straight for the 'grassy knoll' and Area 51. Then I look around me and read things like what you posted, and realize - I may be all these things; it doesn't make them less true!

Funny, during the sixties young people often called those in authority "fascists." They hadn't seen anything compared to what we've got today.

I really hope they don't manage to get Jeb elected or selected. Another four to eight years of Bush dynasty concerns me greatly.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. But don't let the fear lead to despair and inactivity ... oh, and I'll keep speaking out against the wrongs, too!
