To Be or Not To Be: A second Memo - Downing Street Memo II?
Get the black and white picture?
According to Dan Froomkin of the Washington Post:
13 June 2005 - 4:00 PM EST
Another Memo showed up this weekend. It details - in black and white - how President Bush was clamoring for war with
""The eight-page memo, written in advance of a July 23, 2002, Downing Street meeting on Iraq, provides new insights into how senior British officials saw a Bush administration decision to go to war as inevitable, and realized more clearly than their American counterparts the potential for the post-invasion instability that continues to plague Iraq. ....." [Washington Post 13 June 2005]
Only in America
Tried by the media - cleared by a jury of his peers
The nation tunes in and eagerly awaits:
1] Guilty of race morphing?
2] Is he gay?
3] Is he a child molester?
In the end he was found to be not-guilty. Regardless, that won't stop the public lynching: Tonight Show's Jay Leno continues to skewer Michael Jackson. Under the auspices of comedy, Leno has concluded the strange, ambivelant and reclusive pop icon is guilty on all counts. I suppose we shouldn't get all worked up about the Jay's slander - its all good-natured humor after all.
Meanwhile...
"The new memo (can we call it DSM-II?) comes at a particularly bad time for Bush, as polls show that public sentiment is turning sharply against the war." [Washington Post 13 June 2005]
No outrage over the mounting news about President Bush's lying to the American Public and Congress - just a huge collective yawn - the Mainstream media is on Vacation.
This flyer from Britan is not accurate - Bill was never impeached.Dubya should be - but won't based on what he did - or did not do...
I miss the days when breaking the law was Black and White
instead of Black or White.
Melanin takes precedence over Mayhem
Our President lied and people are dying
Welcome to Dubya's world
where everything is shades of gray
