A Voice in the Wilderness

As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there's a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged, and it is in such twilight that we must be aware of change in the air, however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness. -- William O. Iraqis love their children too

The civilian death toll in Iraq officially stands at 12,000 as reported by the Iraqi Government. This seems grossly underestimated; I have as high numbers up to 120,000. Pain and loss is part of every Human experience. Let us pray for all people who have died in Afghanistan and Iraq. May all the children, mothers and fathers affected by this war soon live in peace.

FRAGILE

Sting
(...Nothing Like the Sun)

If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one
Drying in the colour of the evening sun
Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away
But something in our minds will always stay

Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetime's argument
That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could
For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star, like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are, how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star, like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are, how fragile we are
How fragile we are, how fragile we are

I hate George W. Bush. He is a sociopath.
